  • http://ctein.com/booksmpl.htm One of the last, great dye-transfer printers has released his book Post Exposure as a free download for the present time. If you want to read it, grab it soon. A
  • http://traditionalphotographer.net/ A relatively new community of photographers who use film and tradional processes. A
  • http://www.nonphotography.com/ - By Nitsa. No-rules street photography. To my liking,  the best... simply the best.
  • www.holgamods.com - When you get tired of grey cards, Cicles of Confusion, MTF charts and the like, and just want to take heart-stopping pictures, get a Holga. A
  • www.luminous-landscape.com - a comprehensive site containing reviews, tutorials and other photo-related essays.  D
  • largeformatphotography.info - A forum for users of the many sizes of large format cameras.
  • www.steves-digicams.com- resources and reviews for the digital photographer. D
  • www.stevesforums.com - a remarkable community of (mostly) digital photographers, on a wide range of photo issues. D
  • www.nikonians.org - a Nikon-friendly forum; a place to get product-specific answers fast.
  • www.danheller.com - Dan Heller's excellent site for the aspiring photographer. Kind of old fasioned by WWW standard, but still great essays on photography techniques.
  • www.kenrockwell.com - Ken has a large database of camera-related reviews. Worth a read.
  • www.thenocturnes.com - THE source of info about Night Photography.
  • www.photokaboom.com - Photography course materials and left-brain thinking.
  • www.morguefile.com - Photography resources, including some excellent tutorials by Jamie Coston
  • www.bythom.com - Photography articles, reviews and more.

  • Black & White World - Black and white film processing - the 12 step program
  • Darkroom Techniques by Kodak - Basic dark room techniques from Kodak
  • digitaltruth.com - This is THE guide for developing film and print. You select your film and it gives the developing times for a massive range of chemicals. The top level of the site contains a lot of tutorials also.
